On Tuesday the 17th April our lead developer Trevor Ward is running a one day workshop in Sheffield (UK). This is titled “Titanium Best Practices and Application Architecture” and is aimed at developers who wish to get up to speed on all the recent changes from Appcelerator on Best Practices and commonJS.

It is going to be a full day of presentations and hands on labs. With only 15 spaces we expect it will sell out quickly. More information can be found in the training section of the site and tickets are available from Midday on Monday the 12th April here.

We am fortunate that Ketan Majmudar @ketan has agreed to come along and help with the hands on labs.

Last week Appcelerator provided a series of Web Casts showing some of the new features available in Titanium and the latest release of their Studio product and SDK.

With seven days of the web casts and so much information coming out they recorded them and are now available here.

I was fortunate to be able to have the time to watch these live, and I have to say that with the exception of the information on the Nook, (I’m based in the UK and we don’t have it) everything else was really well presented, relevant and informative.

It is an exciting time to be using Titanium as a development platform. Having seen what is now available and potentially coming the framework is going from strength to strength.

I hope you get chance to watch the recordings (available here) as they are well worth it. Especially check out and follow the new example app they are creating and blogging on.

It’s 2012 at last and our new look web site is up and running.

We have gone down the word press route to give us much more functionality and you can expect blog posts, articles, links and a load more information coming in the next few months.

A new logo is being designed and will appear soon, so too will a new mobile app linked to the site using uppsite.com.

We will continue to strive forwards in 2012 with some great new customers and exciting in house projects on the cards, together with a few surprises.
