This policy explains what Softly Wired collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It describes the site as it works today — nothing more.
Who is responsible for your data
Softly Wired is operated by Johan Bengtsson, an individual seller (sole trader) based in Borås, Sweden. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at info.softlywired@gmail.com.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle is a separate controller for the payment data it collects at checkout.
What we collect
- Questionnaire answers. Your answers about where planning gets difficult, and the planner layout generated from them. These are held in your browser while you use the builder.
- Purchase record. When you start checkout we create a purchase record containing the generated planner result, the paper sizes included, the payment and fulfilment status, and a random recovery identifier that lets your browser return to your download.
- Customer email and transaction reference. After a completed payment, Paddle provides us with the email address used at checkout and the transaction reference, which we store on the purchase record.
- Technical logs. Our hosting and backend infrastructure records standard request and error information (such as IP address, timestamps and error messages) needed to run the service securely.
We do not ask for your name, address, date of birth, health information or any diagnosis, and we never receive your card details.
Why we use it
- To generate your personalized planner and let you preview it (performance of the contract you asked us to prepare).
- To confirm your payment and deliver the correct planner PDF to the right buyer (performance of the contract).
- To answer support, download and refund questions (performance of the contract, and our legitimate interest in providing support).
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud or abuse (legitimate interests).
- To meet accounting and tax obligations where these apply to us (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record, for payment processing, tax compliance, invoicing and buyer support.
- Lovable — the platform hosting this website and its backend database, acting as our infrastructure provider.
- Authorities or professional advisers where we are legally required to share information.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
Cookies, analytics and marketing
Softly Wired does not use advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics tools, and we do not run an email newsletter. Your browser stores a small amount of information locally so your questionnaire progress and your purchase recovery link survive a page refresh; this stays on your device. Paddle sets the cookies it needs to operate the checkout — see Paddle's own privacy notice for details.
How long we keep it
Questionnaire answers you have not purchased stay in your browser and are cleared when you clear your browser data. Purchase records are kept for as long as we need them to support your download, handle refunds and meet accounting requirements. We are still finalising a fixed retention schedule; if you would like your purchase record deleted sooner, email us and we will delete it where no legal or accounting obligation requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email info.softlywired@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
For payment data held by Paddle as Merchant of Record, please direct requests to Paddle; we will help where we can.
Security
Planner results and purchase records are stored in a backend that is not readable by the public website. Downloads are authorised on the server against the purchase record, so a planner PDF can only be produced for a purchase whose payment has actually completed. Access is limited to what is needed to run the service.
International transfers
Our hosting, database and payment providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
